BAD TIMES AI

How to make a Bad Times AI video

One photo. Three templates. The original moves and sound.

  1. Choose your version

Person keeps your likeness, hair and clothing. Pet adapts the performance to your cat or dog while preserving its fur and features. Baby creates a fully clothed youthful version of the person in your photo.

  2. Add one clear photo

Use one front-facing subject with even lighting. Upload JPG, PNG or WebP under 20 MB. Use a photo you have permission to use.

  3. Sign in and get credits

    Choose 480p or 720p, then a 10-second highlight or the full performance. Single-video packs: 480p $9.90 / $29.99; 720p $19.90 / $59.90. Full person and pet videos are 30 seconds; baby is 26 seconds. No subscription.

  4. Generate, preview and download

We edit the chosen reference video using your photo. Your finished MP4 appears in the studio. You can return later while it is processing. Failed generations return credits.

Studio FAQ

Which model and length should I choose?

Seedance 2.5 edits the reference video. We recommend the 480p full performance: person and pet 30 s, baby 26 s. You can also choose a 10-second highlight or upgrade to 720p. See the cost before generating; no prompt is needed.

What kind of photo do I need?

One subject, face sharp and forward, bright even light, upper body (or a pet’s whole body) in frame. Crop group photos to the one you mean; celebrity photos and film stills don’t pass review.

How long does a video take to generate?

After photo review, the task is submitted to the model. Completion depends on the model queue and processing speed, with no fixed number of minutes. Check the status in the studio; you can also return to the current task after refreshing or reopening the page.

What if generation fails?

Failed generation tasks automatically return credits to your balance. A rejected photo does not start a generation task. You can try again with a different photo.

Are my photos and videos private?

Uploaded photos are used for image review and model generation, and history is linked to your signed-in account. Your photos and generated videos are not automatically used as homepage examples.
